Patties mini Round Slide Pucks - Beefcake Skate

Don't let their small size scare you! These are an incredibly functional size, and many adult riders are being won over by the patties. Beefcake makes fast sliding high quality slide pucks, made from the finest Albertan beef (UHMW). They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and thicknesses. These are the favorite puck in our local scene. Great to upgrade, or replace your stock pucks and they are perfect for an easier DIY glove making experience.

Patties are the ideal size for your small slider burgers. They are smaller and lighter than most standard pucks. They work well with risers, for people with small hands, or those that want a minimal puck for dancing or distance skating where sliding with hands down is not intended but can still happen in an emergency. 

3.1oz patties are great, they are not super heavy but the added thickness helps make up for their smaller diameter. A local favorite. Not so large that you can't carry your board yet they keep your fingers off the road without adding extra layers of velcro. This means you don't need risers with these pucks, at least not until you've worn them down a ¼ inch.

Slide pucks attach to the palm of specially made slide gloves. They allow a rider to control falls, to stabilize themselves in corners, and when sliding to slow down. Helmets and pads are great during an impact, but pucks are the only preventative safety gear, they can help to prevent the impact from happening.
