*Price is for a single bushing, so you can mix and match. You need 4 per board. Buy 4 or more bushings to save .50 cents each !

The least expensive yet most effect upgrade for any board. Especially for those small or newer riders.

We sell RipTide's APS Chubby Bushings individually because they are for longboards and we don't think longboards should have the same bushings front and back.

The RipTide Chubby shape offers the highest stability of all the bushing shapes. They work best in a truck that has a stepped bushing seat to take advantage of the secondary step in the bushing, the vertical side wall and the large backside of the Chubby.  They still turn very well and can be used in a softer duro if you are looking for a stable yet plush and comfortable setup. The Chubby is one of our most versatile bushings because of its size, shape and wide variety of applications.

The Chubby Shape works well with large flat washers or with a normal diameter washer. We suggest using it boardside.

APS™ Formula: Animated Polymer System

As the name implies, this compound is very lively and offers high rebound with lots of control and lean. For the same durometer, the APS will turn 10% to 15% more than the same durometer of other brands. In addition, the APS does not change much when you tighten the kingpin nut past snug. We recommend tightening to the point where it is difficult to turn the bushing in the bushing seat by hand. Use a flat washer for lower resistance and a cupped washer for higher resistance.
